Jerry started practicing law in 1976 after passing the Illinois Bar. He attended Illinois State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History. He then earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Memphis in 1976. Jerry’s area of concentration is litigation and general practice. It includes personal injury, worker’s compensation, major civil and criminal litigation, divorce, family law, wills and estates, DUI and traffic. Jerry has countless hours of experience in the courtroom. He is sought out for his great reputation and service. His corporate accounts include Quincy Township, Wise Finance, Village of New Canton, and Heights Financial Service. Jerry is a member of the Illinois Township Attorneys, Illinois State Bar Association, and Adams County Bar Association, and is Past President of the Adams County Bar Association.

Jerry is married to Laura (Grayson) Timmerwilke and they have 2 children: Jill and John. Jill is a special education teacher and lives with her husband, an Army Blackhawk pilot, and their daughter is in the State of Washington. John is a research physicist working in the Washington, D.C. area.

They have one dog named Cara. Jerry is a member of the Knights of Columbus (where his father, Timmer, was a legend), and the University of Memphis Alumni Association. He is an avid tennis player, jogger, walker, and occasional golfer.
